Hi, my name is Grace.
Phew, now that that's out of the way we get move on to a more interesting topic. Or, at least something that's only semi-more interesting than my name, I hope.
First of all, I want to tell you about who I am and my interests. Currently, I am eighteen years of age and I'm a relatively quiet person. I keep to myself for the most part and enjoy spending time with my family. I am currently attending online college classes and I don't have a major at the moment, but I'm getting my generals done. I also work as a nanny 28.5 hours a week. One last thing about myself is that I enjoy reading, writing, and photography.
Over the last year or so, I've fallen out of love with writing and even more recently with photography. I lost myself and who I wanted to be. It wasn't until about a month ago that I thought of the idea to start a blog. I thought to myself, "This is the best idea I've ever had." It combined my love of both writing and photography in one amazing package. So, over this past month, I've been taking baby steps to creating one. Now, it's finally here! This is my first post and definitely not my last. I have so many post ideas in mind already that I'm planning, so I can't wait for what's to come.
I'm hoping that with this blog I'll fall back in love with writing and photography, then see where things go from there. I mostly am just creating this blog for myself so that I can find myself again. I know it will be a lot of work, but I'm up for it. Especially if I do things at my own pace and what I feel comfortable with.
In my posts, I'll be covering all sorts of topics. Makeup, fashion, all things vintage, pop culture, and anything else I find worth blogging about. A few posts I already have in mind are:
1. My most recent Colourpop items I purchased
2. Some vintage items I got from my Great-Grandmother
3. My top 3 perfumes
4. My record player/record collection
5. Audrey Hepburn collection
6. Favorite books
And so much more!
So, I hope you stay along for the journey and I hope you enjoy my future posts!
I leave you with this quote:
"Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter, and those who matter don't mind." - Dr. Seuss
